On Wednesday, Secretary of Education, Dr. Matthew Malone visited our school. We had a
reception in the Vogel Auditorium and an informal discussion about education
both at the state level and locally in Wrentham. Secretary Malone also took some time to visit some of the Roderick classrooms.
On Monday, our school celebrated Dr. Seuss Day. Thank you to our guest readers: Our next Superintendent, Dr. Allan Cameron, Representative Dooley, Fire Chief McMorrow, Police Chief Jim
Anderson, Mr. William Ketcham, School Committee Chairman Ed Goddard, Mrs. Diana Greenberg, Mr. Mike McGuire,
Mrs. Sarah Tracy, numerous parents, and KP Honor Students. A very special thank you to Wrentham Public Schools'
librarian, Mrs. Robin Panchuk and Mrs. Kim Lilja for
organizing this wonderful day for our school.
Also on Monday, the Wrentham Public Schools celebrated Family Literacy
Night. Thank you to all of the families who attended. Special thanks again
to school librarian, Robin Panchuk for organizing a great evening, all
of the staff members for hosting the activities, and the PTO for
collecting and organizing the book swap.
This morning our school celebrated its Term II Positive Referral
recipients. All Positive Referral recipients were invited to a
breakfast to celebrate their accomplishment. Special thanks to Mrs.
Judy White and the Wrentham Public Schools' kitchen staff for providing
a delicious breakfast.
This week I had the opportunity to visit Mrs. Hall's fourth grade classroom. Students were busy working in groups finding equivalent fractions. Great work!
