Welcome Back!  We are all eager to begin the new year!

When you enter the lobby, there is now a new bulletin board with the pictures and names of the Roderick School staff members!  (Thank you, Ms. Fox, of putting this together!)

Speaking of teams...
There is also a display for the charity softball game between the Wrentham Schools Staff and the Wrentham Police.  This will be our fourth annual charity game so be sure to check out the details during your next visit to Roderick School.

Over the summer, we had quite the "makeover" at Roderick School.  We have beautiful new doors throughout the oldest portion of the building from the offices and all throughout the cafeteria end of the building!

In addition, the classrooms at that end of the building have beautiful new tile floors.  Thanks to our industrious maintenance team, every leg on every chair and table has been adorned with appropriate glides so that we can keep the floors looking like new. 

Classrooms are ready to go!  Students will find their new books waiting for them.

Teachers have spent a great deal of time organizing and setting up their classroom to be ready for their new students.  I am lucky to be here with such a dedicated staff!  Some families have already come by to visit the new classrooms or drop off some school supplies.  Even if you have seen the classroom already and met with your child's teacher, please be sure to set aside the evening on Thursday, September 17th for the Open House.  We hope to see most of you then as we share important information about the learning opportunities in store for your children this year!

I am very eager to begin the new school year and will look forward to seeing students arrive on Tuesday, September 1st!
