Roderick Review 4-21-17

Fourth graders will be a part of our annual Arbor Day celebration on Friday, April 28th.   They will be learning about the history of Arbor Day, tree safety, how to plant trees, and they will be a part of the actual planting process as well.

A few pictures of where we left off before vacation...
Grade 5 students worked in groups to research and share information about the New England, Middle, and Southern colonies.

Sixth graders had individually researched and reported on various landmarks in Europe.

Fifth graders took part in a prey and predator simulation with coyotes and road runners.

Using silent hand signals to  show if they are prey or predator, students saw how the balance within the ecosystem could change over the course of 15 years.
