This Week...

Students put 100% of effort in to their work and 100% perseverance and yielded 100% achievement and boosted their confidence as well!

It's all about relationships!  Celebrating milestones is important and
builds a positive classroom community!

Dr. Cameron, our Superintendent, and Dr. Murphy, our School Committee Chair recognize two of our Student Ambassadors who shared what students have been learning in their specials classes at Tuesday evening's School Committee meeting.  Two different Student Ambassadors will be celebrating the "Difference Makers" in our school at the next School Committee Meeting on February 14, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Roderick Library.

Fourth graders have been working hard on their research, taking notes about the person they are studying, and are organizing their notes to be able to share all that they have learned in their published piece.  Students are also thinking about what other types of non-fiction text features, such as headings, that they may want to add to enhance their writing as well.

Check out what the PTO has been up to!

The PTO is in full planning mode for the spring time activities.  Kids are reading up a storm!  The Read Across Wrentham (RAW) program has started off strong.  Continue to support your child's reading and send in your tracking sheets!  We will be trying a new fundraiser this Spring and hope that it's received well.  The monies earned by fundraising assist the PTO in being able to foster relationships among the school, students, teachers, and parents!   The 6th grade yearbook is underway.  Don't forget to send in baby pictures and be on the lookout for the request of other school related activities.  Any questions, please email yearbook@wrenthamschools.org.
